For those that don't know, MiniTube is a desktop application that can play YouTube video's on your desktop - without the need for flash.
Also new in the 0.8 release: -
- MiniTube now remembers volume and mute status across sessions
- New Translations, including French and Latvian.
- Removes 'cheesy' icons from menus in Linux version
Install MiniTube
The following PPA packages MiniTube for easy install and maintenance on Ubuntu.
- sudo add-apt-repository ppa:neversfelde/ppa
It is also available from GetDeb @ getdeb.net/updates/Minitube
The source is available at the official site [link]
Please note that this latest version has yet to hit the PPA or GetDeb but it should arrive within the next few hours so patience is a virtue.
