pyGtranslator is a desktop application that utilizes Google Translate and lets you translate – from your desktop! Nice!
Simple paste your text, select the “to” and “from” language and hit translate.
Of course, translations are only as good as the math behind the translators, but Google Translate has a pretty good track record over similar services from other companies. I’ve found it particularly good with Swedish.
